Love gives the benefit of the doubt according
to I Cor. 13. Love is ever ready to believe the best of someone. We should work on teaching our children to believe the best motives in others rather than the worst.
Love treats others the way you WANT to be
treated (Matt. 7:12) not the
way you believe they just treated you.
Love empathizes.
To some empathy comes more naturally than others, but we should strive to teach
our children to put themselves in someone else’s shoes.
Love speaks it’s own language. Help your children to understand that each
person understands and receives love differently. Teach your children to learn
their loved ones love language. What speaks to them?
