Psalms 100:4 -“Enter into his
gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him,
and bless his name.”
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving…”
We should thank Him for:
-The church
-Religious freedom
-The Gospel
“…and into his courts with praise…”
We should praise Him for:
-His goodness
-His mercy
-His love
-Who He is
“…be thankful unto him…”
We should be thankful for:
-Salvation
-Health
-Family
-Provision
-The Bible
-Heaven
-Freedom
“…and bless his name.”
To “bless” means to praise, to
glorify, for benefits received.
Psalms 103:2 says “Bless the LORD,
O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:”
We celebrate Thanksgiving
today. As we eat too much delicious
food, surrounded by those that we love, let’s use Psalms 100:4 to guide us
through our day. Take the time to thank
Him…to praise Him…to bless Him. We are
so undeserving, yet we have so much! He
is so deserving of it all and so much more!
