Family Friday: 15 Things for Every Mom with Boys

There are some key things your sons should know before they leave home. 

Here are my top 15.

1. Keep God first in every area of your life.
2. You will be a leader for the rest of your life, lead responsibly
3. The kitchen? Not just for girls. Learn to use a stove.
4. If a girl tries to change you she doesn’t really love you, no matter how much you love her.
5. Shower daily, keep your nails trim and use deodorant.
6. It is NEVER acceptable to break up with a girl over the phone.
7. Understand how to use basic tools.
8. When you ask a girl, “Is something wrong?” and she says, “No.” She’s lying.
9. The job of a stay-at-home mom is equally as hard as yours
10. Table manners. Use them!
11. You will never know a stronger pull than that of your friends trying to get you to participate in their wrong doing.
12. There are more options than your fists to settle a dispute.
13. Sexting is a federal offence
14. Real girls do not look like Victoria Secret models.
15. Control your tongue.
