I heard a
very simple but profound definition of mercy this week. Not making an issue
over something you have the “right” to make an issue over.
To me, that
is just crystal clear, but not that easy to do. I immediately made a commitment
to try to be a merciful person, and was almost immediately given the
opportunity to practice it.
Funny how
that works! My mercy muscles are sadly pretty weak, but with the Lords’ help,
they’ll get stronger
.
