Grace is getting what
Jesus deserves.
Ephesians 2:8 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
Romans 3:24 - "Being justified freely by his grace through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"
II Corinthians 9:15 - "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable
gift."
Mercy was Jesus
taking what we deserve.
II Corinthians 5:21 - "For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Ephesians 1:7 - "In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"
Genesis 32:10 - "I am not worthy of the least of
all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant;"
